During COVID-19 our lives have become increasingly disrupted requiring us to adjust to a new normal. A different skill set is needed to adapt and thrive during these unprecedented times. In the magnitude of the pandemic, we can work towards cultivating resilience. Dr. Shilagh Mirgain, a Distinguished Psychologist at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, will explore practical skills rooted in mindfulness and positive psychology to improve emotional and physical health. She’ll discuss research on improving stress management to foster overall well-being. She’ll explore mind-body practices to enhance motivation and engagement in creating a life involved in sports and recreation.
Our conference in 2020 will look a little different, but we are excited to engage as an association.
The 2020 virtual conference will occur across two days.
