WIRSA Service Award Recipients

The WIRSA Service Award is presented annually to one professional from an in-state institution in recognition of outstanding service to the WIRSA and/or NIRSA associations at the state level, regionally, or nationally.  Award winners are nominated by their peers from around the state with the WIRSA Executive Board making the decision on the winner.  The award is presented at the WIRSA State Conference during the State Business Meeting.

WIRSA Outstanding Member Award Recipients

The WIRSA Outstanding Member Award is presented annually to one professional from an in-state institution in recognition of outstanding leaderships and contributions to the field of Campus Recreation on their campus, at the state level, regionally, or nationally.  Award winners are nominated by their peers from around the state with the WIRSA Executive Board making the decision on the winner.  The award is presented at the NIRSA National Conference during the WIRSA State Business Meeting.

WIRSA Student Award Recipients​

The WIRSA Student Award is presented annually to one student from an in-state institution in recognition of their outstanding leadership and dedication to the Campus Recreation Department and programs on their institution.  Every WIRSA institution is encouraged to submit one student nomination from their institution.  The WIRSA Scholarship Committee will select one nominee as the WIRSA Student Award winner who will receive a $250 scholarship for professional development.  All award nominees will be recognized at the WIRSA State Conference during the state Business Meeting.
